Joan, a life-long Staten Island resident, is in her 17th year of serving the Staten Island real estate community.

Prior to establishing her company, Joan was the relocation liaison with a local franchise office.

A consistent top producer, Joan has earned a reputation for being knowledgeable, honest and effective in her dealings.

She specializes in marketing, negotiation, problem solving, transaction management, relocation and short sale / foreclosure resources. Joan recently earned the nationally-recognized Short-Sale/Foreclosure Resource (SFR) certification offered by NAR. Joan also holds the Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designation, enabling her to understand the needs of her mature clients. She is also a certified e-Pro.

Joan manages the day-to-day operations of her office.

Rich, a native Staten Islander, brings more than 25 years of sales experience to the firm.

A licensed real estate associate broker, Rich has been serving the Staten Island community for the past seven years. He recently received the 2008 SIBOR Top Producer award. Additionally, Rich attained a Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designation to better assist mature clients.

Previously, Rich was a foreign exchange broker at several top Wall Street firms, where he served in senior management roles. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business from St. John’s University.

  John Camerlengo,

John is a skilled listener, dynamic problem solver and a true “people person.”

An entertainer for more than 25 years, John has performed as a singer, trumpet player and guitar player on Staten Island and in Brooklyn. He has also performed as a disc jockey for New Image DJ Company.

Previously, John was an Operations Supervisor with the main office of the New York City Department of Sanitation in Manhattan.

A native Staten Islander, John is a member of the Silver Lake Senior Golfers Association.

Lisa brings 11 years of combined marketing, journalism and Web producing experience to the firm. She obtained a New York State Real Estate Salesperson’s license to better serve Camerlengo Realty’s clients. 

Lisa created and maintains the Camerlengo Realty Web site, and has assisted in developing the Camerlengo Realty brand and marketing strategy.

A native Staten Islander, Lisa is a full-time marketing communications director with a global professional services firm in Manhattan. She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from St. John’s University and a master’s degree in broadcast journalism from Columbia University. 

  Laura Camerlengo,

  Administrative Assistant                                              

Laura, a graduate of St. John’s University, brings marketing and Web experience to the firm. She obtained a New York State Real Estate Salesperson’s license to better serve Camerlengo Realty’s clients.

Laura received a master’s degree in history of decorative arts and design from Parsons The New School. Laura has a keen eye for detail.

  Joseph “Jay” Rizzo,

A driven, dynamic and focused visionary, Jay brings more than 30 years of real estate investing experience to the firm. 

Jay, a self-made entrepreneur, previously owned and operated several restaurant and entertainment businesses in New York City and on Long Island. His passion for real estate investment, development and renovations led him to recently obtain a New York State Real Estate Salesperson’s license.

Born in Brooklyn, Jay currently resides on Emerson Hill. He attended St. Francis College and Long Island University. He enjoys traveling, theater and spending time with friends and family.

Jay has also been actively involved in AIDS-related charities, including God’s Love We Deliver, Hale House and the National AIDS Task Force.

  Anselmo “Sal” Genovese,

  Licensed Real Estate Salesperson

Sal, a Registered Architect, brings a unique and blended perspective on real estate. He recently obtained a New York State Salesperson’s license to offer clients an architectural perspective on real estate purchases and sales.

Sal specializes in land development, commercial properties, legalization, expansion, renovation, restoration and zoning. He also has deep expertise in construction management and field supervision.

  Irene Rivera,

Irene brings more than eight years of real estate sales experience to the firm. She has been recognized time again for her high level of sales production.

Prior to joining Camerlengo Realty, Irene spent seven years with a franchise office on Staten Island. Previously, she was Project Manager of Celebration at Rainbow Hill for approximately five years.
